FULL TRACK PREVIEW!

The 11^th of January 2011 meant a few things for the Ameritz team. The 1^st being we had re-occupied our studio’s, sound desks and offices for exactly one week. Our coffee intake was back to an all time high in a bid to combat what Rick had affectionately nicknamed ‘The big slump’. This referred to the slightly dazed and slumpy state the festive period had left us in. Some of you may argue it was self-inflicted to which… We decline to make further comment!

Most importantly 11/01/2011 marked the launch of our ‘Full track preview’ App. This came about through the last customer survey, and led us to bravely go where no other backing track company had been before.

The response… We would like to thank you guys for nearly crashing the site due to record number of visitors, IT WAS GREAT!

Ameritz customers spoke and we listened. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part in the survey and encourage your feedback as it’s customers like you that enable us to make our service what it is.

Years ago to if you wished to sing to audience outside your country of residence, you may have to set about travelling the globe or sending Cd’s ever CASSETTES for those of you who can remember that far back, but what about now?

One of the most obvious singing sensations who we can consider to have risen to fame through posting their music on the world wide web is Lilly Allen who was talent scouted after putting her music on Myspace at the height of its popularity in the early 2000’s.

Fast forward 10 or so years, and you may recognise the name… Youtube. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what Youtube is, it’s a website where people may post video’s of themselves doing all manners of things and other people from around the world can view, rate and pass comments.

Statistics for Youtube show, the website exceeds 2 billion views PER DAY! A crazy amount I’m sure you will agree. So here is the interesting bit… How would you like to have an exclusive license giving you the right to sing and broadcast yourself on Youtube for FREE?

Ameritz have a history of providing backing tracks to customers who are now recognised internationally for their singing ability. Susan Boyle, Leona Lewis and Joe McElderry to name but a few of our A-List customers, and now we are about to stage our first big give away!

We will then advertise your video via our Facebook page and encourage people to view it, SIMPLES!

2011... Blaze your own trail

Hello, hello to all you sing stars and welcome to the 1^st Ameritz blog of 2011… Hurrah! We would have posted one sooner. However after enjoying the Christmas/ New year festivities, spending time with family, catching up on sleep, not knowing (or caring) what day it is and eating a staple diet of turkey and Quality Street. Getting back into the 9-5, gym swing… Well! It was pretty hard going.

Having now got through our harrowing ordeal, the office and studio's have once again become a hive of activity and we are now currently working on promotions and Apps that will be coming to you through out the year.

The music scene for 2011 has got off to a fantastic start, with new releases from Hawaiian artist Bruno Mars and our sassy London girl… Adele. Both albums have very different vibes especially Adele's, which steps away from the pop dance movement to provide a mellow well produced sound.

The Ameritz office track current favourites if we were forced to pick would have to be Bruno Mars ‘Grenade’ and Adele’s ‘Someone like you’. We were ecstatic when we found out these songs were going into production for the Ameritz backing track collection and it’s obvious you were too by the level of orders we have received.

With such artists in mind, it’s easy to begin to contemplate our own ideas of success and what we want 2011 to mean for us as performance artists and music producers.

Many of you may be considering trying new genres of music, or realising your dream by recording an album. Our advice to you all would be to GO FOR IT! We love getting involved with our customers projects and will always try to offer the best advice possible.

 We believe the way the world works is somebody has to be an accountant, somebody has to be a doctor, someone has to be a writer and somebody has to be a singer, so why shouldn’t it be you?
